Wenatchee River Institue Talk

This Friday, January 27th, I will be presenting at the Wenatchee River Insitute (WRI) in Leavenworth, WA. This is a chance to broaden the impact of our research by reaching out to a community in prime crossbill habitat! Questions will be raised: what is a crossbill? (a type of finch!) - why are they unique? (many reasons!) - why should we care about their behavior? (climate change, for one!) how can citizen science help solve the mysteries of Nature's Nomad? (come find out!)

For more info please visit the WRI's website: http://www.wenatcheeriverinstitute.org/

SICB Presentation in New Orleans!

I recently presented preliminary results of stable isotope analyses at the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) conference. The talk was well attended and well recieved! This is a potentially very exciting way to ask questions about nature's nomads!
