Destructive behaviors in the home can be very frustrating!
Fortunately, there are management and modification solutions to make time at home more relaxing for you and your pet.
Aggression can take many forms, including:
-To other dogs, on leash or off
-To strangers in the home
-To strangers away from the home
Whatever the form, understanding the motivation for aggression is key to successfully addressing it. Punishing a dog for aggression when it is motivated by fear will make the problem worse.
Because of the risks involved to the community, to your dog, and to your finances, get help as soon as possible.

Dogs are social animals, and are aware of our absences.
With our busy lives, it is not realistic to never leave your dog alone for any period of time.
But some dogs experience extreme distress and suffer when left alone. This can manifest as destructive behavior (chewing furniture, belongings, walls & door), vocalizations (howling, barking, whining), and/or eliminating inside (loose or runny stools, peeing, etc.).
Through behavior modification, you can reduce the extreme anxiety and distress your dog experiences when alone.
It is a process, but it can greatly improve the quality of life for both you and your dog.
Every relationship is unique.
